Use the contact form to get in touch. We respond within 24–48 business hours to schedule a free 15–20 minute phone call or video call (your choice).
On that call, we’ll talk about what brings you in and answer your questions. We’ll both get a feel for fit. If it feels right, we schedule your first session and send intake paperwork.
Checking fit is a valid part of finding support that actually helps. A good fit usually means feeling safe, respected, and able to open up over time. It often becomes clearer after a few sessions and a direct check-in about how therapy feels.
If therapy keeps feeling guarded or unsupportive, that matters. It may mean a different therapeutic relationship would serve you better. It’s okay to explore that, and it’s okay to say it out loud.
It still might belong. The challenges listed on the Approach page are the patterns we see most often in systemic therapy work, but the lens — symptoms-read-in-context — applies more broadly.
If something brought you here and you didn’t see your specific challenge or area of concern named, still reach out for a free consultation to talk it through.
Therapy here isn’t measured by time in a room. We measure progress in terms of movement toward outcomes that matter to you — clarity, regulation, reclaimed voice, repaired relationships, honest self-understanding. The work toward those is the service.
Sessions are by secure video, wherever works for you in California. All you need is stable internet, a camera-enabled device, and headphones.
Virtual care removes common friction: no commute, no waiting room, no scramble for childcare or time off. Most clients find those fewer barriers make the work more sustainable.
50 minutes and weekly sessions are the standard length and frequency. We also can do 90 minute extended sessions for more intensive work, or 30 minutes for a more focused session.
For more information on service formats, see the Services page.
We intentionally keep our caseload small in order to offer each person consistent availability and the depth of presence this work asks for.
Between sessions, we’re available by email for brief needs like scheduling, quick check-ins, and clarifying questions. We respond within 24–48 business hours.
For anything more urgent or complex that comes up between sessions, we can schedule an additional session or adjust our meeting frequency.
Our standard rate for a 50-minute session is $200. We also have "Sustaining Fee" and "Reduced Fee" tiers. Clients can indicate in the consultation call which tier best matches their current financial reality. Full details are on the pricing page.
Payment is due at each session via credit card, debit card, or HSA/FSA card through a secure portal. We send a payment link after each session, or you can set up automatic billing.
We don’t accept insurance because insurers often dictate session length, frequency, and treatment approach in ways that can limit relational work. Private pay keeps treatment flexible and avoids adding a diagnosis to your medical record unless you want one.
We can provide a superbill — a detailed receipt — that you can submit to your insurance for out-of-network reimbursement if your plan covers it.
Out-of-pocket clients can request a Good Faith Estimate of expected costs before starting care.
Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. With less than 24 hours’ notice, the full session fee is charged because that time was held for you and usually can’t be rebooked.
Emergencies and illness happen. If something comes up on short notice, let us know — we can talk it through.
